349 West 51st Street - Linden Lane

Construction is nearing completion at Cadence Property Group’s residential condo building Linden Lane at 349 West 51st Street in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan. Designed by Architecture Outfit, the 7-story through-block development features a custom blend of Norman-style Coppertone Velour brick and custom windows by AWM Windows along West 52nd Street facade. The courtyard facade introduces dark-toned Alfrex Rainscreen metal panels with large windows and private balconies.
When completed, the development will offer 32 residences ranging in size from one- to three-bedrooms. Layouts are varied and include duplex one-bedrooms, garden triplexes, and four penthouses with private terraces. A landscaped entryway and courtyard designed by LaGuardia Design Group will greet residents at the West 51st Street entry. Along with birch trees and seasonal plantings, a sculpture by artist Albert Dicruttalo will occupy this space.
Resident amenities will include a fitness center, yoga studio, meditation garden, co-working space, courtyard, and rooftop terrace with outdoor kitchenette, barbecue, lounge seating and dining areas.

547 West 47th Street - The West Residence Club

Construction has wrapped up at residential condo building 547 West 47th Street in Hell’s Kitchen from CB Developers, SK Development, and Ironstate Development. Designed by Amsterdam-based architecture firm Concrete, the project features a more solid 6-story base with a glassy eroded 5-story volume above.

The building’s lower half is clad in 615,000 pounds of hand-laid gray brick and punch window facade that nods to the neighborhood’s industrial past. Concrete worked with Amsterdam company StoneCycling to design a custom brick made from at least 60% recycled building waste, including roof tiles and toilet bowls, in 42 different shapes and sizes.

Residents have access to The West Residence Club, a 30,000 square feet collection of amenities that includes a rooftop pool, sundeck, outdoor lounge, grilling stations, indoor/outdoor fitness center by The Wright Fit, yoga and pilates studio, pet spa and rooftop dog run, rentable hotel suites for guests, private dining room with chef’s kitchen, double height lobby lounge, and a glasshouse library with fireplace.

Model Residences
Residences range in size from studios to 3-bedroom apartments and feature natural oak flooring, high ceilings, and large industrial style windows at the lower half or modern window wall at the upper half. Kitchens feature custom cabinetry, marble countertops and backsplashes, and Bosch and Miele appliances.

Construction Update: Pier 97
Construction is underway on the renovation of Pier 97 at Hudson River Park, a conversion of the pier to park space. Designed by !melk, the pier park will feature a playground with water spray features, a synthetic turf field, a sloping sun lawn, sculptural shade structures, an elevated walkway with seating, an “all-ages” slide and a sunset deck complete with bistro tables, chaise lounges and two-tiered walls with seating. A comfort station located north of Pier 97 will include solar panels on the roof along with a food concession, public restrooms and a park maintenance area.

Construction Update: 611 West 56th Street

Facade installation is ongoing at 611 W 56, a 420 foot tall residential tower in Hell’s Kitchen from developers Sumaida + Khurana and LENY. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza, the 37-story tower is the architect’s first building in the United States. The facade is clad with large windows and white Perla Bianca limestone.

When complete, the tower will offer 80 residences designed by Gabellini Sheppard Associates and ranging from one- to four-bedrooms and penthouses.

Construction is wrapping up at Extell's 555Ten, a 650-foot residential rental tower in the Hudson Yards Special District. Designed by SLCE, the 56-story rectangular tower sits at the northern edge of the Hudson Yards neighborhood and is clad in a blue glass curtain wall.

VIA 57 WEST at 625 West 57th Street
Construction is wrapping up at the Durst Organization's VIA 57 WEST on the Hudson River waterfront. Designed by Bjarke Ingels of BIG, the 470-foot-tall "courtscraper" includes 709 residential rental units and 45,000-square-feet of commercial retail space. Renters began to move in this past spring and now the building's amenities have opened, with the branding of VIA Garden, VIA Social, and VIA Fit.

Designed by Starr Whitehouse, the building's 22,000-square-foot courtyard features native plants and trees, along with seating and an outdoor grilling area.
