Concrete superstructure has reached the one third mark at 80 Clarkson, a two-tower residential development adjacent to the recently opened Google headquarters at the former St. John’s Terminal. The project is led by a group of developers including Zeckendorf Development, Atlas Capital Group, and The Baupost Group. COOKFOX Architects is leading the design of the 45- and 37-story towers, which will offer 113 residential condo residences with nearly 37,000 square feet of ground floor retail space and parking for 69 vehicles.

Construction on the adjacent 19-story senior housing tower at 570 Washington is also well underway, with facade installation wrapping up soon. When completed, this tower will offer 175 residences under the Affordable Independent Residences for Seniors (AIRS) program and approximately 3,300 square feet of ground floor retail.

The project is led by a group of developers including Zeckendorf Development, Atlas Capital Group, and The Baupost Group. COOKFOX Architects is leading the design of the 36- and 29-story towers, which will offer 127 residential condo residences with nearly 37,000 square feet of ground floor retail space and parking for 69 vehicles.

Construction Update: The Keller at 150 Barrow

Facade installation is wrapping up at Aurora Capital Associates’ residential condo building The Keller at 150 Barrow in the West Village. Designed by BKSK Architects, the two-building development includes a new seven-story structure clad in white brick and large windows with brass toned metal accents. An adjacent structure, the former Keller Hotel building from 1898 by Julius Munckwitz, is currently undergoing a gut interior renovation.

Construction Update: 540 Hudson

Facade installation is wrapping up at Aurora Capital Associates and William Gottlieb Real Estate’s residential building at 540 Hudson Street in the West Village. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, the seven story building is clad in hand laid brick by Belden Tristate Building Materials and large punched casement windows with simulated divided lites. A three foot projecting brick cornice caps the exterior wall.

Construction has wrapped up at William Macklowe Company's 21 E 12, the 22-story residential condo tower in Greenwich Village. Designed by Selldorf Architects, the tower's façade features precast panels of light colored cast stone and punched casement windows. For the duplex penthouse units on the top two floors, the tower sets back and is clad with a floor to ceiling glass curtain wall.
