Construction is nearing completion at Lendlease and Aware Super’s two-tower residential development 1 Java on the Greenpoint waterfront. Designed by Marvel Architects, the 834 rental unit development includes a 37-story tower at the southwest corner of the site and a shorter 20-story tower at the northeast corner. The north tower is clad in medium grey precast panels and punch window, while the south tower is clad in white and beige precast panels. with punch window. An adjacent low-rise residential podium between 5- and 8-stories occupies the eastern half of the block. The podium is broken down into sections with varying shades of red brick and articulation.

Superstructure has started to rise at Lendlease and Aware Super’s two-tower residential development on the Greenpoint waterfront. Designed by Marvel Architects, the 834 rental unit development includes a 37-story tower at the southwest corner of the site and a shorter tower at the northeast corner. The southwest tower sits on 3-story sloped columns that are already visible as the tower superstructure surpasses the sixth floor.

Construction Tour: 662 Pacific Street

Southwest corner from Dean Street.

Facade installation is wrapping up at the Brodsky Organization’s 27-story residential rental tower at 662 Pacific Street in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The tower is part of the Pacific Park development and will offer 312 rental units and a 616-seat public middle school at the five-story base. Marvel Architects has led the design, which features a massing of stacked rectangular volumes clad in hand laid brick and large punch windows. A light tan brick clads the upper residential volumes, while a dark gray brick and larger windows clad the school volume below.

Tour: 146 Pierrepont Street - The Pierrepont

Residential Entry Lobby.

Construction has wrapped up at Jonathan Rose Companies and Bedrock LLC’s The Pierrepont, a two tower residential rental development at 146 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights. Designed by Marvel Architects, the two 20-story towers feature a brick and punch window façade with a two-story connecting element at the base. Fogarty Finger led the interior design for the development’s residences and extensive amenities package. Rental units range in size from one to three-bedrooms and feature large windows, kitchens with oversized islands, and bathrooms with double vanities and walk-in showers. Residents have access to a collection of amenities that include a fitness center, yoga room, meditation room, entertainment lounge, dining room with catering kitchen, children’s interactive playroom and outdoor play area, pet spa, courtyard, zen garden, and rooftop terrace.
