Facade installation is wrapping up at Madison Realty Capital’s residential rental tower at 644 East 14th Street in the Alphabet City area of the East Village. Designed by Fischer + Makooi Architects, the 24-story tower features a facade of floor-to-ceiling window wall and terracotta panels in a two-toned pattern that emphasizes the structure’s verticality. The development will offer 196 rental units ranging in size from studio to 2-bedroom, with a portion set aside under the affordable housing program.

1 St. Mark's Place

Facade installation is nearing completion at Real Estate Equities Corporation’s commercial office and retail building 1 St. Mark’s Place in the East Village. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, the massing of the 9-story project features a rounded corner at the southwest and several setbacks along the west and south facades that will allow for outdoor terraces. The project is clad in a contextual dark tan brick from Belden Tri-State, large floor-to-ceiling windows, and curved glass windows at the southwest corner.

Construction Update: 40 Bleecker Street

Construction has wrapped up at 40 Bleecker, Broad Street Development’s 12-story residential condo building in NoHo. Designed by Rawlings Architects, the building’s facade features nine stories of brick and punch windows that are grouped into vertical bands every two floors. The top three floors step back to create private outdoor terraces.

Residents have access to a range of amenities including a 58 foot swimming pool, fitness center with exercise room and stretching studio, courtyard garden designed by Hollander Design, and private parking below ground.

Model Residence
Interiors for the residences are designed by Ryan Korban, an AD100 interior designer working on his first residential project.
Kitchens feature sculptural cantilevered and waterfall-style statuary marble islands, cerused oak cabinetry, French oak floors, fluted burnished nickel hardware, and Miele appliances.
Bathrooms feature a custom Korban marble vanity, honed Grigio Dove stone, cerused oak veneer paneling, chevron Calacatta tiling, and polished chrome fixtures.

Construction has wrapped up at Eighty East Tenth, a 10-story residential condo building by Parametric Development Group ( PDG ) in the East Village. Designed by NAVA, the building facade features floor-to-ceiling windows and bronze toned metal panel with an organic dot pattern of concave and convex impressions.

The project offers 12 residential units, ranging in size from one-to-four-bedrooms and a five-bedroom duplex penthouse.
