Facade installation is wrapping up at Lendlease and Aware Super’s two-tower residential development 1 Java on the Greenpoint waterfront. Designed by Marvel Architects, the 834 rental unit development includes a 37-story tower at the southwest corner of the site and a shorter 20-story tower at the northeast corner. The north tower is clad in medium grey precast panels and punch window, while the south tower is clad in white and beige precast panels. with punch window. An adjacent low-rise residential podium between 5- and 8-stories occupies the eastern half of the block. The podium is broken down into sections with varying shades of red brick and articulation.

Superstructure continues to rise at Lendlease and Aware Super’s two-tower residential development 1 Java on the Greenpoint waterfront. Designed by Marvel Architects, the 834 rental unit development includes a 37-story tower at the southwest corner of the site and a shorter 20-story tower at the northeast corner. The concrete superstructure of the southwest tower is nearing the halfway mark, including the 3-story sloped concrete columns at the base. Superstructure on the 20-story northeast tower is close to topping out. Facade installation is also underway on both towers, with medium grey precast panels on the northeast tower and white and beige panels on the southwest.

Superstructure has started to rise at Lendlease and Aware Super’s two-tower residential development on the Greenpoint waterfront. Designed by Marvel Architects, the 834 rental unit development includes a 37-story tower at the southwest corner of the site and a shorter tower at the northeast corner. The southwest tower sits on 3-story sloped columns that are already visible as the tower superstructure surpasses the sixth floor.

Construction Tour: Claremont Hall - 100 Claremont Avenue

Exterior wall installation is wrapping up at residential condo tower Claremont Hall in Morningside Heights from developers Lendlease, LMXD, and Daiwa House. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the 41-story tower sits within the block that holds the Union Theological Seminary and reflects the historic structure’s Gothic style in the design of the exterior wall.

When completed, the 354,000 square foot development will offer 165 condo residences ranging in size from one- to four-bedrooms. Residents will have access to a range of amenities that include a 48-foot multi-lane swimming pool in the original Union Seminary dining hall, the Gymnasium fitness center adjacent to the Union Seminary courtyard, the Rehearsal Hall multi-purpose music room, The Workshop arts and crafts space, The Little Castle children’s playroom, The Study residents lounge, The Library and Dining Hall, and Parkview Lounge and Terrace outdoor space.
