Facade installation is ongoing at the Continuum Company’s 18-story residential condo tower at 38 East 35th Street in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan. Several historic buildings previously occupied the site, including the former home of the Metropolitan Synagogue and the Community Church of New York, who sold the site to the developer in 2024.

Designed by INC Architecture and Design, the mid-block tower will be clad in Dextall’s DWALL 1500 prefabricated wall panel system with Porcelanosa porcelain cladding, aluminum windows, and custom extruded bullnoses.

1 West 60th Street - Anagram Columbus Circle

Facade installation is wrapping up at Global Holdings’ Anagram Columbus Circle, a 123-unit residential rental tower in Midtown. Designed by INC Architecture, the tower is clad in bands of hand-laid brick and 7-foot-tall glass with metal spandrel panels. The form of the tower features rounded corners at the Central Park facing northeast and southeast corners.

Residents will have access to 13,000-square-feet of indoor and outdoor amenities on three levels. An indoor and outdoor lounge will occupy the rooftop at level 27, with views of Central Park and the Billionaire’s Row skyline. On level 2 there will be a double-height resident’s Clubhouse overlooking Broadway and the Conservatory private garden, a Signature Bar also overlooking the garden, a conference room, and private phone booths for work at home. Level 1 will contain a resident’s lounge, the Turf virtual simulation space for golf and games, a Sound Lounge practice and performance room, a Star Lounge and Study space, the Game Den teen lounge, a Central Park Kit Room with park equipment, the Anagram Zoo children’s playroom, and the Fitness Lab.

Model Residences

Rental residences range in size from studios to four-bedrooms and will offer condo quality finishes. Kitchens will feature custom Italian imported cabinetry, cloudburst Caesarstone countertops, Bosch appliances for studio to two-bedroom residences, Wolf appliances for three and four-bedroom residences, built-in refrigerated wine cabinets in select residences, and custom suspended lighting pendent. Bathrooms will feature terrazzo with radiant heated flooring and custom vanities with integrated illuminated medicine cabinetry.

Construction Update: 58 Saint Marks Place

Facade installation is nearing completion at Avdoo & Partners Development’s 12-story residential condominium building at 58 Saint Marks Place in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by INC Architecture and Design, the development’s facade is clad in over 8,000 terra cotta panels and 338 windows. When completed, the project will offer 100 residences ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms, with 39 unique residence types. Open space will be included in about 80 percent of the residences. Residents will have access to 19,000 square feet of amenities across 4 levels, including a fitness center by The Wright Fit and a communal garden designed by Terrain.

Tour: 543 West 122nd Street - The Vandewater

Construction is nearing completion at Savanna’s 33-story residential condo tower The Vandewater adjacent to the Jewish Theological Seminary’s Morningside Heights campus. Designed by INC Architecture and Design, the tower takes cues from the classical neo-gothic architecture in the surrounding Morningside Heights neighborhood with it’s concrete and glass facade. The tower is clad in concrete panels with a weathered limestone patina that references the nearby Riverside Church and nearby residential buildings. Oversized in-swing casement windows are integrated into the facade panels.

Inside, the tower offers 183 units ranging in size from one-to-four bedrooms. Kitchens will feature custom oak cabinetry with pewter hardware, polished Perla Venata Quartzite countertop and backsplash, honed brown antiqued granite island countertops, and Miele appliances. Master bathrooms will feature honed Windsor Cream marble walls and floor tile, custom stained white oak double vanity with honed black travertine countertop and under-mount porcelain sinks, custom mirrored medicine cabinet, custom pewter lavatory faucet and accessories, and under-mount soaking tub with honed Windsor Cream marble surround.

Residential amenities will include: a salon; a great room with full catering kitchen, dining room, and living room; a club room with large format TV screen and wet bar; practice room; teen room; study rooms; Little Forest children’s playroom; fitness center by The Wright Fit; and aquatics center with 70 foot long heated swimming pool. Michael Van Valkenburgh is leading the design of the outdoor spaces including the private gardens and outdoor dining terrace.
