Exterior wall installation is nearing completion at The Durst Organization’s 20 and 30 Halletts Point residential development on the Astoria waterfront in Queens. The two-tower development is the second phase of a larger master plan by Durst that includes seven sites in the Halletts Point section of Astoria. When completed, the project will bring 647 residential units and a waterfront esplanade.

Designed by Handel Architects, the 27 and 32-story towers feature a curtain wall facade with dark blue green glass and white spandrel panels at the podiums.

60 Front Street - Olympia Dumbo

Construction has wrapped up at Fortis Property Group’s residential condo tower Olympia at 30 Front Street in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Designed by Hill West Architects, the 33-story tower’s massing resembles a sail and sits on a triangular shaped site. The tower is clad in large glass panels with horizontal and vertical metal panel accents. Private terraces at each floor cascade down the tower’s northwest corner, giving residents a panoramic view of the East River waterfront and Lower Manhattan.

Amenities

Residents will have access to 38,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities on three floors. The ground floor program includes a porte cochere, triple height lobby, gardens and adjacent garden lounge. At the roof of the podium amenities include a indoor lap pool, outdoor pool and hot tub, dry sauna, steam room, tennis court, and shipwreck playground. The club level will offer a fitness center, spin studio, boxing gym, two-lane bowling alley, club lounge, and lighthouse playroom.

Model Residences

The development offers 76 condo units ranging in size from 1-to-5 bedrooms, many with panoramic views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan skyline. Interiors for the residences are designed by Workstead and feature kitchens with textured maple cabinetry, satin-finished stainless steel, and honed Fior di Bosco marble countertops and backsplashes. Many units feature full width terraces with panoramic views of the waterfront.

Tour: 25 Park Row

North facade.

Construction is wrapping up at L+M Development Partners Inc. and The Family Behind J&R Music World's 25 Park Row, a 50 story residential condo tower. The tower is part of a multi-building development that replaces the J&R Music and Computer World megastore. Designed by COOKFOX Architects, the tower is clad in limestone colored panels that are likely concrete. Inside, the tower offers 110 residential condo units with views out onto City Hall Park and panoramic views of the New York skyline from large windows and spacious balconies.
