Facade installation is ongoing at the Continuum Company’s 18-story residential condo tower at 38 East 35th Street in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan. Several historic buildings previously occupied the site, including the former home of the Metropolitan Synagogue and the Community Church of New York, who sold the site to the developer in 2024.

Designed by INC Architecture and Design, the mid-block tower will be clad in Dextall’s DWALL 1500 prefabricated wall panel system with Porcelanosa porcelain cladding, aluminum windows, and custom extruded bullnoses.

Etihad Park

Superstructure has topped out at Etihad Park, the new home of New York City FC in Willets Point, Queens. Designed by HOK, the rectangular volume of the 25,000 seat stadium sits adjacent to Citi Field. This will be the first fully electric stadium in Major League Soccer and the first fully electric professional sports stadium in New York City. There will also be a rain water harvesting system underneath the playing surface to aid in irrigation.

45-40 Vernon Boulevard - Paragon

Facade installation is ongoing at ZD Jasper’s residential condo tower Paragon at 45-40 Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Archimaera, the new 23-story residential tower rises behind the historic Paragon Paint Factory building, which is undergoing a full renovation and conversion into residential use as part of the larger development. When completed, the project will offer 186 residential condo units ranging in size from studios to four-bedrooms. Currently, the tower superstructure has topped out and curtain wall installation has surpassed the halfway mark.

Superstructure has topped out at a 9-story commercial building at 37-18 138th Street in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens. Designed by Akaia Architecture, the development features a tiered massing that will accommodate 92,000 square feet of commercial space for retail, restaurants, offices and a rooftop restaurant bar.

450 Union Street - Anagram Gowanus

Superstructure is close to topping out at Anagram Gowanus, a 20-story residential rental tower along the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn. The project joins other Anagram branded developments in Manhattan and is developed by a partnership between Global Holdings, MacArthur Holdings and Tankhouse.

Designed by SO-IL, the tower will be clad in a light green brick, similar to the facade of the architect’s other nearby collaboration with Tankhouse at 450 Warren.

When completed, the 203,000 square foot project will offer 158 apartments, with 20% of the residences set aside under the affordable housing program. Amenities will include a co-working lounge, gym, children’s playroom, and rooftop terraces. A waterfront esplanade along the Gowanus Canal will also be built as part of the development.
