10 Bond
Selldorf Architects' terracotta-clad residential condo at 10 Bond is fully revealed with the removal of its sidewalk shed.
The sidewalk shed has come down at 10 Bond, a seven-story residential co-op from developers SK Development, Ironstate Development, and the Chetrit Group. This block long stretch of Lafayette Street has seen two new residential developments completed in the same year, as the adjacent 372 Lafayette rental building opens its doors as well. Clad in shaped, glazed terracotta panels, the building seeks to be contemporary yet respectful of its historic, mostly masonry surroundings in NoHo. Selldorf Architects' design includes a gridded facade of terracotta and large windows, with a setback penthouse and rooftop terrace on the seventh floor. A steel trellis caps the top of the building, providing a planted sunscreen that completes the tripartite composition of the facade.

10 Bond
Installation of the exterior wall is wrapping up at 10 Bond, a 7-story residential co-op from developers SK Development, Ironstate Development and the Chetrit Group. Located in the NoHo neighborhood, the building features a façade of terracotta panels that complements the surrounding brick structures. Designed by Selldorf Architects, the project is slated for completion sometime later this year.

10 Bond
The terracotta facade installation at 10 Bond has reached substantial completion, with only the penthouse and ground floor awaiting their facade treatment. Selldorf Architects' 7-story, 11-unit condo in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan features shaped terracotta panels, with concave elements at the vertical piers and scalloped horizontal panels at the spandrels below the windows. Construction scaffolding is still up at the neighboring 372 Lafayette Street, a rental building by Morris Adjmi Architects. Both buildings are slated to finish sometime this year.

10 Bond
Installation of terracotta facade panels continues at Selldorf Architects' 10 Bond. The 7-story, 11-unit condo in the NoHo neighborhood has much of its signature terracotta facade installed, with only a few bays on the south and east facade left to receive panels. Selldorf's design for the panels includes concave elements on the vertical piers and scalloped horizontal panels at the spandrels below the windows. Due to their materiality and shaping, the panels evoke an artisanal quality that allows the building to fit in amongst the older neighborhood stock and the more recent high profile condos on Bond Street.
Also under construction on the same block, Morris Adjmi Architect's 372 Lafayette Street, a rental building that abuts the north party wall of 10 Bond. Façade installation has been ongoing for quite some time, with a few peeks of brick behind the construction scaffolding.

10 Bond
Facade installation is ongoing at Selldorf Architects' 10 Bond, a 7-story, 11-unit condo building on the fashionable, low-rise Bond Street in the NoHo neighborhood. Most of the windows have been installed, except for the penthouse floor, which is covered in plywood. The concave and convex-shaped glazed terracotta panels have been installed on the majority of vertical piers, with the horizontal panels following. Construction should finish sometime in 2015.

10 Bond
Facade installation has begun at Selldorf's 7 story, 11 unit condo building on the fashionable Bond Street. Since the previous update, the majority of the windows have been installed on floors 02-06 and the first terracotta panels have been installed on a second floor window on the Lafayette street façade. The concave and convex shapes of the terracotta panels will provide depth and register the change in light throughout the day.

Structure has topped out and the first window units are being installed on the second floor of Selldorf Architects' seven-story, 11 unit condo in NoHo. The window frames are brown in color, to complement the sculpted terracotta facade. On the northeastern half of the block, Morris Adjmi Architects' 372 Lafayette, a rental building, has reached its full height of six floors.

Construction Update:
Concrete has reached the sixth floor of Selldorf Architects' seven-story, 11 unit condo project in the heart of New York's NoHo neighborhood. The project hopes to blend in with its historic surroundings with a terracotta facade and weathered steel details. A trellis will adorn the terrace of the top floor penthouse. To the north of 10 Bond, the six-story Morris Adjmi-designed 372 Lafayette Street is also under construction.
